About Delta Speech and Language

Delta Speech and Language Therapy is led by a registered Speech-Language Pathologist offering in-home support across Renfrew County. We combine evidence-based practice with neurodiversity accepting, play-based approaches, partnering with families to build confidence and functional communication.

A tranquil line-art map-style illustration of Renfrew County, simplified and abstracted, highlighting Deep River, Petawawa, and Pembroke with small, friendly markers shaped like speech bubbles. The land is represented with smooth, flowing contours, and a stylized river curves through the composition. Minimal roads are suggested with thin, clean lines. Soft, even lighting with no strong light source keeps the image flat and infographic-like, while subtle line weight variation adds visual interest. The mood is reassuring and professional, emphasizing local, in-home speech therapy services. The composition is mostly top-down, with the three towns arranged to guide the eye in a gentle arc, using a limited, calming color palette that complements the precise line-art style.

I believe the most effective therapy is built on a foundation of trust and connection with clients and their families. I have had the privilege of working in both public and private settings, where I supported children and adults from diverse backgrounds in enhancing all forms of communication. My goal is to provide meaningful and compassionate services that align personalized goals with client strengths.

With a strong background in Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), motor speech disorders, articulation, stuttering-affirming therapy, early language and literacy intervention, and play-based therapy, I firmly believe that communication goes beyond verbal language. Everyone deserves to have their language needs met and the chance to express their true selves.

I especially value working with autistic children and tailoring therapy to their unique ways of engaging with the world. Recently, I pursued education to enhance my ability to assist with infant feeding and swallowing to support critical early developmental stages in a child’s life.

I hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Cognitive Science of Language and Communication Studies from McMaster University. Having grown up in a small town, I recognize the importance of compassion and community in day-to-day life. These values help me provide care that fits each person’s needs.
